You need to wash and clean the area thoroughly every time before applying the ointment. A natural soap works well. I also started using an old toothbrush to gently clean the wart before applying the ointment. After that, I covered it with plastic wrap or a clear waterproof bandage like the ones used in hospitals, which you can buy at most pharmacies.
Once I started following these steps, the results came much faster.
One more important tip: make sure you clean the area really well, and don’t pick at the warts when they start drying out and looking like an old cauliflower. They may look strange, but leave them alone and let them fall off naturally on their own.
